I can’t believe how much I appreciate this.
So there’s a contest going on right now, where a bigger band is offering to take a smaller band on a small tour with them, to help them get the hang of it, and to help them learn. A bit of a mentor program, if you will…and this got posted on their wall.
I don’t even know why this affected me so much, but it just means the world to me to see things like what this guy wrote. This is just the greatest thing anyone could do for me, to speak of something I’ve had a part of with praise. I don’t know, maybe I’m stupid, and this stuff is insignificant, but little posts like this mean the world to me. Anyway, here’s what the guy wrote:
“The Rookie Mistake deserves to go on tour simply because they are one of the best local bands i have seen around here and they deserve to be heard by everyone. i have alot of their songs on my ipod and listen to them often they would make your tour go really well. and they are really nice people. give them a chance to make it and be heard please.”
